The Origin is a Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph with a 6" aperture and an F ratio of 2.2. It is strictly used for astrophotography. Similar to the SeeStar, it represents the latest push-button type of technology that makes setup and capturing images of deep sky objects a breeze. The field of view for this astrograph is 1.27 X 0.85 degrees with a pixel resolution of 1.48 arcsec/pixel.
This unit comes with two 1.25" filters that should be used when imaging: Baader Moon & Skyglow filter for broadband objects such as galaxies, open clusters, globular clusters, reflection nebula and dark nebula; and a Nebula filter used for planetary nebula, bright nebula and supernova remnants.
SOLAR WARNING: Never use this unit to view the sun, it will destroy the telescope and the internals.
