This observing program is intended to provide an introduction to double star viewing by way of a list of 100 of the finest double and multiple stars. This program is quite forgiving of your observing conditions; you don't necessarily need the darkest or clearest skies, nor even a moonless night.

The list includes names and numbers, coordinates, magnitudes of component stars and separation and position angles from the primary star. The table is organized in Right Ascension order, in an attempt to facilitate viewing as the objects rise.
