Recently the EVAC Board approved some changes regarding our online presence, and this posting will provide important details about one of the changes -- the EVAC Discussion List.
As we change web hosting companies, it will be necessary for you to subscribe to the new EVAC Discussion List if you want to continue receiving these messages. The new list will replace the current list when our contract expires next month.
Your current subscription to the EVAC List will be maintained until our hosting contract expires in July, so you need do nothing relative to the current list.
Here's all you need to do to join the new EVAC Discussion List:
1. To subscribe to the new EVAC Discussion List, send an email message to EVAC@EVACONLINE.ORG containing SUBSCRIBE in the subject field. SUBSCRIBE must be the only word on the subject line.
2. Shortly after sending the email message to subscribe to the list, you will receive a confirmation message (sent to the email address you used to subscribe). Simply reply to this message to confirm your list subscription. That's it.
3. If you would ever like to discontinue your participation in the EVAC List, simply address an email message (using the email address that you used to subscribe initially) to EVAC@EVACONLINE.ORG containing UNSUBSCRIBE in subject field. UNSUBSCRIBE must be the only word on the subject line. Addressing the email to any other address will not have the desired effect.
You can also subscribe by going to www.evaconline.org and enter your e-mail address in the text box on the lower right hand side of the page and click on the Submit Subscription Request button. You will receive a confirmation message (sent to the email address you used to subscribe). Simply reply to this message to confirm your list subscription. That's it.
